She peaked early in 2020 as the possible nominee..then crashed.
Who knows but it feels more like she's the challenged rather than being part of the incumbent team...
I don't think that is a bad thing in any way.
It's definitely advantageous to be an incumbent in general
But this dynamic is kind of strange given that Trump is the only one of the two that's actually been president
Kamala will get a major bump at the convention, which will tighten the odds. I think we will see Trump hover as a slight favorite from that point on
At the end of the day though, it's pretty clear that Democrats are not making the smartest decision by going with Kamala
It should be an open convention
